NAIDOC Week

At SJV, we are proud to acknowledge and celebrate NAIDOC Week, a time to honor the rich cultures and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Every week, we take a moment to recognise the deep history and significance of our local area, which has been cared for by the Quandamooka people for thousands of years. They have nurtured this land, preserved their spiritual connections, and passed down their traditions to future generations.

This week, our students will engage in various activities to acknowledge and learn more about NAIDOC Week, showcasing their understanding and appreciation for the cultural heritage of our community.
